MARTIN UNIVERSITY HIRES DAVYD HALL AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF NCREI



Martin University is pleased to announce the hiring of Davyd Hall as Executive Director for the National Center for Racial Equity and Inclusion (NCREI). His responsibilities include building and sustaining community partnerships, inclusive channels of communication, assessment of experience and sense of belonging, and strategies to disrupt oppressive systems for the Center. “We welcome Davyd Hall and look forward to him using his talents and expertise to make our new NCREI a national program,” said Martin’s President Sean Huddleston. “His educational background and impressive experience make him the perfect person for this important position.” "As I prepare for this inaugural position, I plan to lead the Center in fostering our primary focuses which are: leveraging legacy, propelling people and strengthening families; sparking listening, learning, and leading; advancing institutional and organizational effectiveness; and embodying presence, partnerships and perseverance,” said Hall. Hall added, “Through meaningful partnerships, effective communication, impactful programming and advocacy the NCREI will be recognized as a national catalytic organization that will help develop sustainable strategies and practices that address racial inequity, creating more inclusive environments and affirming environments. I am truly honored and excited to be in this position.” Hall previously served as the Director of the Unity Center at Marian University. He is well known and respected for his work in multicultural affairs, community impact, student success, employee engagement and diversity, equity, and inclusion, which has helped over 1,000 individuals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University, a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, and Diversity and Inclusion Certificates from Cornell University and the University of South Florida.
