Dr. David Brewer is a native of Portland, Oregon, who has also lived in Chicago, Philadelphia, Michigan, and now resides in Indianapolis. Within Martin University, Dr. Brewer has held prominent roles, including Lead Faculty for Business, and the Dean of the College of Business and Technology.

Dr. Brewer's diverse career spans 20 years in the corporate world, where he worked in human resources, training and development, computer programming and software development, project management, and business process design. Following his corporate career, he led two nonprofits—a local church collaboration network and an international business incubator.

Additionally, Dr. Brewer has taught at six universities and has provided consulting services to a wide range of businesses, nonprofits, ministries, and educational institutions. He has been married for over 25 years and is the father of two sons.
