#Give2MartinWorks this Giving Tuesday, December 1st

Updated: Nov 16, 2020

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.  Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. This year the global day of generosity will take place on December 1st and Martin University is a proud participant. Will you join us this Giving Tuesday?

On December 1st, Martin University is requesting support to raise $5,000 for the Martin WORKS program. The program embeds employer-based internships and other experiential learning activities in degree programs so that Martin University students graduate with career development training and work experience in their chosen field of study. Funds raised during Giving Tuesday will assist with launching the 15-student pilot program in 2021, including resources for the Martin Academy which will prepare students for their internships. Please consider making a gift today by clicking on the donation button above.

At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Martin University is appreciative of your support of the Martin WORKS program. Thank you for making a difference.
