Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. This year the global day of generosity will take place on November 28th and Martin University is a proud participant. Will you join us this Giving Tuesday?
On November 29, 2022, Martin University is requesting support to raise $10,000 for programs like Martin WORKS. This program embeds employer-based internships and other experiential learning activities in degree programs so that Martin University students graduate with career development training and work experience in their chosen field of study. Funds raised during Giving Tuesday will assist with expanding the program in 2023, including resources for the WORKS Academy which will prepare students for their apprenticeships. Please consider making a gift today by clicking on the donation button below.
At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Martin University is appreciative of your support of programs like Martin WORKS. Thank you for making a difference.
