Martin University hosted the Empowering Excellence Gala: An Evening of Inspiration, Celebration, and Entertainment on April 29, 2022.
“The theme of Empowering Excellence symbolizes Martin’s mission to educate and encourage all people of every race and nationality," said Martin President Dr. Sean Huddleston.
The night featured special guest Rickey Smiley, DJ Jazzy Jeff, The Central State Invincible Marching Marauders, The Indianapolis Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, and Ron Jordan, Owner of Jordan Hospitality Group.
This event served as a unique and exciting black-tie fundraising event. Proceeds from this event help to fund the Martin WORKS initiative and the Center for Racial Equity and Inclusion and student scholarships as they embark upon their education at Martin University.
