Satisfactory Academic Progress
The U.S. Department of Education mandates that institutions which received Title IV funds, evaluate each student's progress to degree completion. Cumulative grade point average, cumulative completion rate, and time to completion are evaluated after each semester and summer term.

Martin University students who receive federal and state financial aid funds must adhere to the University's Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy. The goal is to offer each student the opportunity to succeed academically through a progressive system, created to assist students in achieving and maintaining "good academic standing" with the University. Martin University's SAP policy is available in the Course Catalog.

The required SAP form can be downloaded, printed, or obtained from the Department of Student Services.
