Indiana Historical Society (IHS) invites you to join Dr. Nancy Chism and Dr. John Hardin for History Happy Hour: Father Bonface Hardin, as they commemorate the life and experiences of Father Boniface Hardin, who founded Martin University, Indiana's only Predominantly Black Institute (PBI), in 1977.


Father Boniface Hardin, best known for his activism, was a teacher of faith & equality. Hardin played a vital role in the fight for equality throughout Indiana.
