About The Program
Partnering with Martin University, Ivy Tech students can now receive university credit toward a number of degrees including Early Childhood Education, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Business Administration, Liberal Arts, and Accounting.
Open to Ivy Tech transfer students seeking their first baccalaureate degree who apply to transfer to Martin University with an earned Associate’s Degree.
The transfer partnership focuses on helping students in their educational goals, increasing minority student success in high-wage in-demand careers, and assisting employers in hiring a more diverse and inclusive workforce through the Martin WORKS program. The transfer partnership also allows students to earn an additional 60 credit hours toward their bachelor’s degree.

Providing Students with Paid Internships and Other Career Development Experiences
Martin WORKS is Indiana’s only urban work college program. In this program, Martin University students have the opportunity to earn and learn, broadening their work experience with the goal of solidifying a permanent position with an employer partner while completing their degree.
