Active-Duty Military & Veterans Admissions

Serving active-duty, returning, and disabled members of America's military has been a priority at Martin University.  Martin welcomes those service men and women who can enroll through the Yellow Ribbon Program, Montgomery GI Bill Chapters 33, 30, 1606, 1607, 35, and Chapter 31.  Martin is a designated Military Friendly School, and is recognized as delivering a superior experience for military students.

The Process

Step 1: Apply for your Veterans Educational Benefits.

  • Apply for your Veterans Education Benefits as soon as possible. Once you have completed your application, you will receive a Certificate of Eligibility. You will also need to request a copy of your DD-214 form from the National Archives.
  • Submit your Certificate of Eligibility and a copy of your DD-214 form to the Office of Financial Aid.

Step 2: Determine your student classification.

  • Each student classification has a unique admissions process.

Step 4: Submit your transcripts.

  • Submit your official transcripts for each college or university you have attended. If you have never enrolled in college or you have completed fewer than 12 course credit hours, you must submit an official high school transcript of GED score report.
  • Military transcripts may be submitted in addition to official college, high school or GED score reports. SMART transcripts or Joint Service transcripts are not reviewed for admissions requirements, but may be considered for potential course credit.

Is your dress quality good?

Joy's Bridal Collection is completely Australian owned and operated online store based in Melbourne. We have coupled up with experienced dressmakers and fabric suppliers across the world and are committed to deliver a great quality which we are proud of. We make sure our quality is never compromised by carefully picking the right material and inspecting the factories and production lines. We will never sell a dress that is defective or sneaky in the materials.

Why is your wedding dress so cheap?

Joy's Bridal Collection is an online store, which saves enourmous overhead cost compared to a traditional shop front. With cutting down the cost in renting, shop fittings, out goings and labours, the pricing pressure is also released from our customers. Imagine if you buy a wedding gown in a traditional shop front but 60% goes to the store overhead, why not spend only 40% buying an exactly same gown online?

Can I try on the dress?

Yes! You can visit our home studio located in Burwood, Melbourne. We always have some sample dresses in stock. Although we might not have the exact size on the day that fits you, you are welcome to inspect the quality and pick the style you like! When you place an order, the dresse will be tailor made to your size. Please make sure you contact us before paying a visit.

Will the dress fit me correctly?

Yes. Your dress will be tailor made exactly to your measurements. We suggest you go through Custom Made - Fitting Guide to obtain an accurate measurement. The size will be customized specifically to your bust, waist, hip and height. In addition, most of our dresses have a corset (lace-up) design in the back. You can always loosen up or tighten a bit if your weight slightly changes before your big day.

What if I'm not happy with the dress?

At Joy's Bridal Collection, we’re committed to ensuring all our customers receive high quality dresses and great customer service. Our dresses are made specifically to the measurements you provide (bust, waist, hips, and height). That means no one else will be able to wear that dress once it's made. Because of this, we are unable to accept any returns or exchanges on custom dresses. Therefore, we strongly recommend you look at our Fitting Guide to obtain the most accurate measurement. However, if the dress you received has major fault or not as described, please contact our customer service with your invoice number, photos and a detailed explanation within 7 days of receiving the item. We will work out the best solution for you.

Are the images real?

Each image on our website is taken using the actual gown. Our photos are 100% original and true with exclusive copyright only at Joy's Bridal Collection. We guarantee you will receive the exactly same product as shown in the picture. In some cases, due to the different sizings and handcraft sewing techniques, there will be slight variance such as lace and tulle.

Will I need alterations?

No. Your dress will be tailor made to suit the measurements you provide. Save your money in alteration!

What if I change my mind?

You can cancel the order within 24 hours from the purchase and get a full refund. However, once the production has started, you may not cancel the order.
