Martin University’s Youth — Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

MY-STEM is an after-school, science enrichment program designed for undeserved youth K-6 in the Indianapolis community. The program has served over 1,200 youth since its introduction in 2010.  Students participating in programs will have their curiosity piqued, engage in hands-on activities, and explore many aspects of STEM.

The highlight of the MY-STEM program is its NASA-inspired Aerospace Education Laboratory (AEL) located in the upper part of the globe on the University campus.  The AEL is a state-of-the-art, computerized classroom that uses cutting edge technologies to model real-world challenges in aviation, robotics and micro-gravity research.

Two types of AEL tours are available for the public.

  • A free tour (approximately 15 minutes).

  • An extended tour which includes an activity or multiple activities (prices vary based on number of participants and activity/activities selected).
