Martin University and Ivy Tech Community College Announce Partnership

Martin University and Ivy Tech Community Colleges of Indiana will announce and provide details on a partnership that will concentrate on educational goals, workforce development and career advancement for minority students.

Participants include:

  • Dr. Sue Ellspermann - President, Ivy Tech Community College

  • Dr. Sean Huddleston - President, Martin University

  • Commissioner Teresa Lubbers - Indiana Commission for Higher Education

  • Commissioner Fred Payne - Indiana Department of Workforce Development

  • Mr. Vop Osili – President, Indianapolis City-County Council

  • Dr. David Wantz - President & CEO, Independent Colleges of Indiana

Friday, December 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.

Martin University Gathortorium, 2186 North Sherman Drive, Indianapolis

For the safety of all attendees, masks will be required and social distancing will be in place.

WHY: The partnership’s purpose is to make positive progress in overcoming racial gaps in education and career paths and benefit both students and employers. It will also allow Martin and Ivy Tech to better diversify its student, faculty and staff experiences.
