I'm a native of New Orleans, LA, and I was directly impacted by the devastation brought on by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. I lost my home, but I never lost hope that things would work out. After being displaced, my family and I relocated to Indianapolis because of the loving concern of two dear friends who are Indianapolis residents.

In December 2005, my friends and I attended the Steward & Associates Speaker Series at Martin. This gave me the awesome opportunity to meet Fr. Boniface Hardin. After meeting President Hardin, I eagerly enrolled at Martin University for the winter 2006 semester to pursue an accounting degree. Continuing my education is a dream come true and a long awaited prayer answered.

Martin University is the ideal place for me to continue my education because the staff and instructors are very helpful. I really like the family atmosphere on campus, which was very important to me especially since my own family and loved ones are so far away.

The staff and instructors at Martin have helped to calm my fears of returning to school by encouraging and reassuring me that they were all there to help. I highly recommend Martin to all who desire to further their education. Martin University can change your life, just as it is changing mine.
