I was in my mid-thirties when I earned a master's degree in anthropology as an archaeologist. Though I already held a B.S. in education and a M.A. in sociology, returning to school as a divorced, middle-aged adult provided a personal perspective on adult learning. My history shaped my academic experience. As a result, adopting Martin University’s andragogical approach to education was an easy transition to make. The concept of andragogy respects the person. At Martin University, I have found that anthropology taught through the practice of andragogy defines our place in the world community. | |
