Division of Fiscal Affairs


The Division of Fiscal Affairs supports the core purpose and mission of Martin University by providing fiscal oversight for all divisions, departments, grants, and administrative units.

The Division of Fiscal Affairs handles the business of Martin University and is overseen by the Vice President for Fiscal Affairs. The Vice President for Fiscal Affairs is the chief financial and business officer for the University and reports directly to the President. It is Division of Fiscal Affairs that establishes financial policies and procedures affecting short and long range financial plans, projects, and strategic objectives which include the following group of support operations:

  • Financial Aid
  • Bursar
  • Campus Safety
  • Building and Grounds
  • Facilities Management
  • Finance and Accounting
  • Payroll Services
  • Purchasing


The Office of Fiscal Affairs exercises administrative direction over:

  • Financial Aid Services
  • Student Account Services
  • Financial and selected administrative operational programs
  • Development and monitoring of budgets
  • Coordination of and planning for capital construction, repairs, and renovations
  • Management of land acquisitions
  • Operation and maintenance of facilities, grounds, and other aspects of the campus infrastructure
  • Reporting of financial information to internal and external constituencies
