"All In For Martin!" 2015 Fundraising Campaign

On Monday, February 2nd, Martin Univeristy kicked off its 2nd "All In For Martin!" fundraising campaign.  This year's campaign is spearheaded by Martin's President, Dr. Eugene White, and Mr. Wayne Schmidt of Schmidt Associates, co-chairs for this year's campaign.  

The campaign will also be supported by the efforts of the Martin University Board of Trustees, community leaders, and Martin faculty, administrators, staff, and students.

The goal of the campaign is to continue to support and grow the dream of Fr. Boniface Hardin, O.S.B. and Sr. Jane Schilling, C.S.F.

Support the dream, grow the dream, make the decision to be "All In For Martin!"

USDOE Gives Martin Advanced Status For Title IV Federal Student Aid Program

Martin University has been awarded the highest rating by the U.S. Department of Education for the handling of the Title IV program (Federal Student Aid).  This rating allows the University to participate in the Federal Student Aid program without any internal oversite.

2014 Realizing the Dream Recipients

Congratulations to Martin University's "Realizing the Dream" Recipients. The "Realizing the Dream" Award is given to First Generation College Students that have completed their freshman year of college.  Each chosen student has the opportunity to select a faculty member that has been influential in their efforts to "Realize the Dream".  Winners selected from Martin University are:

Bring a Friend and Win a Scholarship!

Would you like an opportunity to earn a $400 Book Scholarship?!  Twenty-five students will be awarded a $400 Book Scholarship if they meet the following criteria:
  1. Register for at least 6 credit hours for the spring and summer 2015 semesters and;
  2. Refer a friend who registers for at least 6 credit hours for the spring and summer 2015 semesters.

Martin University Campus Safety Week

Martin University hosted Campus Safety Week activities, Monday, September 29th through Friday, October 3rd.  Speakers for the week long event ncluded Michelle Corrao, Molly Burns, Officer Kenneth White and Marita Bower.  Students, faculty, and staff received insightful information on drug and alcohol abuse, active shooter events, self defense and more.

MSD of Warren Township Offers High School Equivalency Courses at Martin

The Metropolitan School District of Warren Township, Walker Adult Education, is offering classes to individuals looking to complete its high school equivalency program.

Adult learners, 25 years of age an older, can participate in these classes, held in the Andrew J. Brown Building on Martin’s Campus.

Constitution Day - September 17th

Constitution Day (or Citizenship Day) is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. It is normally observed on September 17, the day the U.S. Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution in 1787 in Philadelphia.

Universities and colleges nationwide have created "U.S. Constitution and Citizenship Weeks" in order to meet the requirements of the law.
