Jasmound Calloway and Paula Wilburn Receive UNCF Scholarships

Congratulations to Jasmound Calloway and Paula Wilburn.  Each has received a scholarship from the United Negro College Fund.

The United Negro College Fund provides need-based scholarships to students who attend historically black collges and universities.  It also provides scholarship dollars to minority students attending in-state colleges and universities.  Visit http://www.martin.edu/financial-aid and click on the available scholarship link for information on UNCF and other scholarship resources.

Martin University Drop In Center

Martin is providing a new service for its students.  On Monday, February 2nd, the University opened the Drop In Center.  The Drop In Center will provide childcare for the children of Martin students while they attend classes on campus.

Located in the Andrew J. Brown Building, the Center will provide a safe, activity field environment for children ages 2 to 6 years old.  Martin University Early Childhood Education majors will serve as staff in the facility, under the direction of Dr. Mattie Solomon, Director of Early Childhood Education.  The service is provided at a minimal cost to Martin students.

"All In For Martin!" 2015 Fundraising Campaign

On Monday, February 2nd, Martin Univeristy kicked off its 2nd "All In For Martin!" fundraising campaign.  This year's campaign is spearheaded by Martin's President, Dr. Eugene White, and Mr. Wayne Schmidt of Schmidt Associates, co-chairs for this year's campaign.  

The campaign will also be supported by the efforts of the Martin University Board of Trustees, community leaders, and Martin faculty, administrators, staff, and students.

The goal of the campaign is to continue to support and grow the dream of Fr. Boniface Hardin, O.S.B. and Sr. Jane Schilling, C.S.F.

Support the dream, grow the dream, make the decision to be "All In For Martin!"
