Giving Opportunities - Scholarships
Keep Martin Within Reach for All
Martin University is eager to serve all who seek a postsecondary education and to learn skills that can be used in today’s global society.
For some individuals, however, a Martin University education seems out of reach. Scholarships play an important role in bringing promising students to campus.
By establishing a scholarship, you can help:
- Close the gap between the cost of a Martin education and the student’s resources
- Attract gifted students and ethnically diverse students
- Encourage students interested in a certain vocation or career path
- Honor loved ones with a scholarship established in their name.
Your gift means another student will have the opportunity to explore the world of learning through Martin University’s wide range of programs.

Join in Our Mission
Become a part of a growing trend of those who invest in higher education by establishing a named scholarship. You can choose to support one of two types of scholarships:
1. A Named Merit-based Scholarship allows Martin University to attract gifted students.
- By establishing a named merit-based scholarship, you can help to establish specific guidelines for the award – for example, a specific GPA; a student pursuing a particular degree; or the demonstration of outstanding leadership skills.
2. A Named Need-based Scholarship allows students with limited resources to afford a Martin University education. More than 70 percent of Martin students qualify for need-based aid.
- By establishing a named need-based scholarship, you can provide a student with the financial resources to pursue and achieve his or her dream of a college degree.
