How To Apply - Returning & Re-Entering Students

 

Admission for Returning Students

A "Returning Student" is classified as any student wishing to register for courses that has attended the University and taken courses in any of the 5 prior semesters (including summer sessions) for which he or she wishes to enroll.

Returning students will be registered for classes by their facullty mentor or by a member of the faculty designated by the Department Chair.

Admission for Re-Entering Students

A "Re-Entering Student" is classified as any student wishing to register for courses and has not attended Martin University in any of the 5 prior semesters (including summer sessions) for which he or she wishes to enroll.

Prior to registering for any course, a re-entering student must complete the following:

  1. Update all application information by completing application.
  2. Provide two forms of identification as follows:
  • State issued driver's license
  • Federal or State issued identification card (including photo)
  • School ID (including photo)
  • U.S. Military ID
  • U.S. Passport
  • Permanent Resident or Alien Registration Receipt Card
  • Foreign Passport (containing I-551 notation)
  • Employment Authorization Document (including photo)
  • Social Security Card
  • Voter's Registration Card
 
Proof of Graduation
Prospective students will be required to provide proof of graduation from an accredited high school or GED program.  Click here to download a Transcript Request Form.

**Note:The Accuplacer is administered at Martin University at no cost to the applicant.  Applicants are not permitted to test more than once in a 90 day period.

ATB applicants have 2 re-take opportunities (the initial test and 14 days thereafter).  If on the second attempt a prospective student DOES NOT meet the minimum score requirements, applicant must wait 3 months to re-test.
