Family Health Minor
- Have you ever wanted to know more about health issues affecting your family?
- Would you like to be a change agent for health for all?
- Would you like to present health information to small family and community groups?
- Would you like to promote and develop cutting edge family and community resources for health education?
- Have family health concerns ever impacted your church, work or school?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you should consider the Family Health Minor. The Family Health Minor can help provide you with opportunities to make a difference in the area of health education.
The Family Health Minor requires six (3 hour) courses. These courses include:
- FH 101 Healthy Family Lifestyles
- FH 201 Communicating Health
- FH 210 Topics in Family Health
- FH 301 Health Disparities: Impact in African American Families
- FH 310 Topics in Family Health
- FH 401 Family Health Consumerism and Advocacy
- FH 410 Family Health and Freedom
