School of Social Science
The faculty members within the School of Social Science set high standards for our students while equipping them with knowledge and skills to meet those standards. The School of Social Science presents different skills such as effective use of scientific methods, effective use of statistics, and the ability to interpret and solve problems with courses from the discipline of Psychology. Our Urban Ministry Department is highly regarded in the field of teaching our students moral and ethical reasoning, along with many religious courses such as Advance Biblical Studies, Preparation of Delivery of Religious Message, and New Testament Studies: The Torah Story. Early Childhood Education (ECE) has a vast array of classes that introduces the student to Creative Art and Music in Early Childhood classes and Emergent Literacy for Young Children. The ECE Department is growing and newer innovative classes are being created on a continuous basis. Criminal Justice is another department that teaches our students moral judgment and the understanding of choices people make within the context of the legal system. In the School of Social Science, our students learn the value of education, and with persistence, they can reach those dreams of obtaining a valued degree.
