Genetic Counseling

The Genetic Counseling undergraduate program offers a baccalaureate degree with a specially designed curriculum to develop knowledge, skills, and competency in genetic counseling. Students study health disorders, diseases, and theories for community application, and participate in local and regional genetics educational activities. The program offers extensive clinical experience in a variety of genetic counseling settings and networking with community resources, as well as opportunities to enter a graduate psychology program.

The Genetic Counseling major requires 38 credit hours of course work.
