Who Qualifies for Financial Aid?

You must meet the criteria listed below to be considered for federal and state financial aid.

  • You must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Be enrolled in a degree seeking program
  • Have a valid Social Security Number
  • Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards (click here for SAP Policy)
  • Not be in default on a federal loan or owe a repayment of a federal grant
  • If you are male, over 18 and born after 1959, be registered with Selective Service
  • Be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours per semester)
