Who Qualifies for Financial Aid?
You must meet the criteria listed below to be considered for federal and state financial aid.
- You must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be enrolled in a degree seeking program
- Have a valid Social Security Number
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards (click here for SAP Policy)
- Not be in default on a federal loan or owe a repayment of a federal grant
- If you are male, over 18 and born after 1959, be registered with Selective Service
- Be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours per semester)
