Strategic Plan
Martin University is currently engaged in a Strategic Plan. This plan enables us to continue to grow and positively impact the community of Indianapolis and the State of Indiana in the field of Higher Education. This plan allows us to do the following:
- Strengthen enrollment, revenue, quality, and reputation
- Identify our unique niche and market position as we continually strengthen our competitive advantage
- Improve our performance in responding to external mandates
- Balance priorities, goals, and the allocation of resources
- Overcome weaknesses of both piece-meal approaches to planning and conventional long-range planning
- Free-up ideas, building consensus, and achieving collaboration
- Create results-oriented campus teams among key constituents
- Identify the latest external trends and their impacts on the university
- Assess institutional outcomes
- Build a solid foundation which allows for continuous quality improvement
- Increase donations, grants, donors, and endowments
While the mission has been the same: to serve low
income, minority, adult-aged persons in a healing and freedom minded
environment, the needs of people have changed somewhat and the delivery of
service has developed with the needs and times.
This reality check on years of good will, service and
positive attitude will be the basis for transformation for the next decade.
