A MUSICAL CELEBRATION TO CREATE A PROGRAM OF INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC AT MARTIN UNIVERSITY”

Martin University has been educating students and serving the Indianapolis Community for the last 40 years.  However, there has never been an instrumental music program at the University.  Martin is now ready to bring instrumental music to its students and the Community.

On Sunday, May 14, 2017, there will be “A Musical Celebration to create an instrumental Music Program at Martin University.”  This celebration will be led by the leader and director of the San Francisco All Star Big Band, David Hardiman, Sr. and featuring outstanding local musicians and artists like Larry Clark, Everett Greene, Craig Parmerlee, Virgil Boyd, Rudy Finnell, Vickie Daniel, Steve Allee, Al Finnell and others.

Special guests of the Celebration will be all the graduates/alumni of Martin University over the last 40 years.  Alumni will receive a special pin in honor of the celebration.  The event will be free and open to the public and a free-will donation to the instrumental music program of Martin University will be available.  This great celebration will be held at Martin University on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 3:00pm in the Father Boniface Hardin Gathertorium.  Please join us and help put the sound of instrumental music in the halls and soul of Martin University.
