The Mari Evans Center for Writing was established to
help students move one step closer to becoming successful writers and graduates.
Our goal is to help students acquire the knowledge, confidence, and tools that
they need to help "write themselves into the world." The Mari Evans Center for
Writing provides one-to-one tutoring sessions, which serves to create "better
writers, not better papers," as Stephan North suggests.
