Mission

The mission of the College of Business and Social Sciences is to provide outstanding undergraduate and graduate programs in the areas of business and social science in a healing, freedom-minded environment whole being responsive to the needs of a continuously changing society. The mission is two-fold.

The primary core of the mission is to develop academic programs that prepare individuals to meet the challenges of an increasingly complex, technological, and diverse society as effective and responsible global citizens. In addition, the department welcomes the added responsibility to provide students with the tools necessary to function effectively in their chosen vocations. All of which increasingly emphasize the need for interpersonal skills, the ability to relate and interact with diverse populations, and the ability to serve in multidisciplinary, technological, and global work environments.

Goals, Outcomes and Objectives

Our programs will offer students the foundation for the following:

  • Acquire and develop critical thinking skills, develop and enhance rational thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Develop understanding, respect, sensitivity, and tolerance to differences
